Itinerary
Meet your safari guide and drive out of Kampala in the morning, be prepared for a long day in the car. Make a stop at the equator to get the experience of standing with one foot on either side of the southern and northern hemispheres. Continue on to the town of Mbarara for lunch. The final part of the journey will take you through a landscape of rolling green hills and beautiful views as your guide takes you up towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Your guide will take you to the starting point of the gorilla trekking in the morning and you'll set off for your great adventure. The trek takes you through the jungle up to the point where the gorillas are and you get to spend one hour with them. For sure this is a moment you will remember for the rest of your life. When you are back from the gorilla trekking, your guide takes you to the stunningly beautiful Lake Bunyonyi.

You'll have a free day by the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi. There are some possible activities such as canoeing on the lake, walking around the island, and taking a swim (the water is a bit cool, but free of Bilharzia, hippos and crocodiles). You can also opt to relax with a book enjoying the view.
